WONDER BOY - THE DRAGON’S TRAP

Wonder Boy - The Dragon’s Trap was released in 2017. It is the remake of the 1989 game Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap, which was published by Sega for the Master System. I was very intrigued with this game due to it’s extraordinary art style. Each frame and action felt more like a cartoon animation cell rather than a video game. Lizardcube and Dotemu, the creators and publishers of this remake really did a wonderful job with the art style, direction, and music. Short five episode series playing through the game that starts off as “almost” a perfect run.
